No thanks. dingy toilets that are past their prime. Cheeky staff who cannot deal with legitimate criticism (food was served cold, the waitress preferred to smoke a cigarette).

The beer garden is really great and very idyllic. The guest rooms are getting old but well-kept. The food is authentic and good for an inn. It is particularly recommended in summer.

Very nice beer garden. Live music on Fridays. Good local cuisine. Service was quick and friendly despite the large crowd. The last star is lost because of the toilets and unsightly menus. Maybe you should check it out more often and clean it up. Menu would certainly be more loving and possibly more creative. Dessert menu reminds me of the 80s.

The food is good there is a large terrace sheltered by huge plane trees it's nice in summer the prices are correct and the service is fast.

Nice, large beer garden. Cheese spaetzle was great. Large portion, salad in front and the cream sauce for the spaetzle was really delicious! In the evening, fairy lights shine in the trees, which made a great atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly. 45 min for sausage salad + another 15 min for fried potatoes. The sausage salad was ok. The browns are too salty and very greasy. That the waiter is unfriendly shouldn't be news. That was our last visit for the time being. It's a shame actually.

Loved this place. Thank god for Google translate as no one spoke English and the menu was in German (which was actually rather nice as it meant we'd found a place that the locals loved and we got an authentic German experience/meal that we were looking for). We had been craving schnitzel and were not disappointed and spatzl was an added bonus for me as I love getting it each year at the Christmas markets. Fast service, beautiful very busy outdoor area (very much a biergarten), on a warm evening really made this a great dining experience. You can pay by card or cash.

Incredibly tasty Käzespätzle, and my dear liver doesn't look too bad. Not in the middle of the city, but more than worth the walk!

This restaurant was randomly found after visiting Christmas market in Gengenbach, and we wanted to have some Schnitzel. Because it was cold and at night, we didn't see the seats outdoors. One of the servant could speak in English, the service was good, he arranged us the seat with dome which was quite comfy, and the Schnitzel and deep fried whole young chicken we ordered were really nice! I finished the whole chicken by myself, plus, the salad the provided was not only regular green salad, also with cucumber, pickled radish and cabbage, I like the salad a lot, the quantity was big and it really balanced the meals we had. The price was also reasonable, we were both very satisfied.

This is definitely one of the best kept secrets in Offenburg. One of the very few locations that offers a really nice beer garden with food. The portions are generous, the quality is fantastic value and the beer goes down very well This place should be on everyone's list of places to goto in the evening

Nice excursion restaurant with very delicious dishes. Especially in summer, when it is very warm, it is pleasantly cool and refreshing up in the forest. Add a yummy beer or biker and the day is perfect. Only downside there is no radio connection up there.

I think I just was unlucky today, The food tasted great and was cooked just right--it was juicy and still rosy inside; but, the steak was tough. I'll give them another try because if the steak had been tender, this would have been a four star meal, and I've never given a five star to anyone.

The ambience meets the home-style cuisine. Service fast and friendly. The older gentlemen from the regulars' table, who are excited or talking about news, I guess belong to the inventory. A decent menu with plenty of choice is quickly brought by the nice service. The drinks were cold and the food was cooked and served quickly. The salad fresh and normally prepared. The food was well seasoned with above average salt and plenty. But I think that's a matter of taste. All in all, a simple pub where you can go to the kitchen good bourgeois.

We just had Christmas lunch. We were 5 and we took the two fixed menus offered by the house. Everything, all really very good. Nothing is left. Good quality price ratio. Nice place, managers and staff very kind and helpful. I recommend it and if we come back here it will be a fixed reference point. Congratulations!

This was the only biergarten in Offenburg we could find. Reasonable beer selection and very good value food.

Food is always good. Inside is nothing special; best time is in the summer when the beer garden is open.

Tasty food, friendly stuff and cosy inner yard where you can take your food outside the restaurant. Do not forget to try local beer "Kronen"!
